Privacy Policy
Last updated: draft — not yet published
This Privacy Policy explains how Shift Meal, operated by 86x LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when restaurant operators and their employees use the platform. No source privacy document exists yet — this scaffold must be drafted and reviewed by counsel before it is published or relied upon.
Information we collect
Expected to cover, at minimum:
- Operator account and business details (name, locations, contact).
- Employee wallet data — coin balances, shift activity, and redemptions.
- Point-of-sale data received through Toast, Square, and Clover integrations.
- Device, log, and usage analytics.
How we use information
To operate the platform, calculate and display the 86 Coin balances earned for shifts, process subscriptions, provide support, and improve the service. Final purposes and legal bases to be confirmed by counsel.
POS integration data
Shift Meal connects to point-of-sale systems to read the shift and sales data needed to track meal costs. The exact fields, retention, and provider terms (Toast, Square, Clover) will be documented here.
Sharing and disclosure
Provisional: we do not sell personal information. Data may be shared with processors that help run the service and where required by law. To be finalized.
Data retention and security
Retention periods and safeguards to be specified. We intend to keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. The request process will be described here.
